Application of Planning Provisions for Group Homes

Urbanista analysed relevant planning provisions and case law and applied this analysis to practical examples.  Based on this work, it developed a step-by-step guide to assist in characterising what may or may not be a group home. The final report draws together this work, along with its recommendations for ways to improve the interpretation and application of the current planning framework to enhance accommodation options for people who are disadvantaged or with disability.
