Jamie McNamara
Bachelor of City Planning (Honours), University of New South Wales
Jaime is an urban planner with experience in government and non-government roles. Jaime holds a comprehensive understanding of the NSW Planning System, including current strategic objectives and legislative frameworks at a state and local level.
Jaime core competencies include coordination of Development Applications and Planning Proposals, as well as supporting technical inputs, policy guidance and planning advice. Additional skills include project management, policy drafting, strategy writing, due diligence, program evaluation and stakeholder engagement. Jaime has a keen interest in master planning processes and sustainable housing development.

Jacob White
Bachelor of City Planning (Hons.), University of New South Wales (currently being completed)
Jacob is passionate about how the planning system can be used to drive improved social justice outcomes. Prior to working with Urbanista, Jacob worked for eight years in Canberra for federal Members of Parliament in various leadership roles including a 6-month secondment to lead the successful ‘yes’ campaign in the ACT for the marriage equality.
Jacob is currently in his placement year of his Bachelor of City Planning (Honours) at the University of New South Wales. While working and studying, Jacob has also led a number of urban activations in Canberra from micro parks to neighbourhood-scale block parties. Jacob is a digital native and has strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Elizabeth Cocks
Bachelors of Arts and Law (Hons.), Macquarie University (currently being completed)
Elizabeth is a final year student with a strong background in planning and environmental law. Her experience working at Lendlease and the NSW Land and Environment Court sparked her interest in sustainable development and strategic planning. She has supported the team in delivering key social and affordable housing projects. Elizabeth is an analytical thinker with strong research, communication and project management skills.
